What does it look like in real life?
It might be a room, environment, or other designed experience that changes with a person’s movement, breathing, interaction, or choices. The change becomes part of what the person experiences.
Does the technology decide what an experience means?
No. The technology may change or gather information during an experience. The person remains the one who interprets what happened and decides what it means.
Is Metaphysical Technology a belief system?
No. It is a category for designed work that engages questions or experiences often described as metaphysical. People may understand those experiences in different ways.
Does it claim metaphysical ideas have been scientifically proven?
No. The category creates a way to explore, describe, test, and govern this work. A person’s experience does not automatically prove one explanation for why it happened.
What makes something part of the category?
The human experience must matter from the beginning. What is created should intentionally help people explore that experience and make the interaction something they can encounter, shape, observe, or discuss.
